Price was very reasonable and food was excellent. Despite being packed in like sardines, service was excellent. I would recommend this as a restaurant to enjoy with a group of friends rather than planning it as a venue for a couple or small group. Excellent example of a quality japanese restaurant. I stopped for lunch and thought the meal was well presented, tasty and filling. I think I paid about $15 so the cost was not great. I think I ate a little early so relatively quiet but I will happily recommend this restaurant to others. Really very impressed. Always amazing. Dishes presented beautifully; they cook the paper bowl dishes at your table with a gas burner. Recommend the miso katsu, whole shime sabe fish & dragon roll. Fresh & Inexpensive. Milford residence. presentation ok. food? hm.. why this restaurant has such a high score? had pork cutlet and chicken teriyaki (deep fried). Both deep fried. I believe the oil they used for my dishes was too old. the oil was not drained well from dish. Pork was ok but chicken was smelly (I assume chicken was not fresh or undercooked). I could not have the "crisp" for traditional japanese deep fried food. Probably will try fresh ones like sushi or sashimi next time. been here May 2012. It really is very good in the price range. We take advantage of the lunchtime special at least once a week and overall Musashi is established as a top 5 fixture in our minds. Wasn't particularly busy and so service was friendly and efficient. Sashimi selection and tuna cappaccio were divine. Soft shell crab very yummy. We will return. With friends.
